I just went to the OB/GYN for the first time; I’m 18 and not sexually active but she put me on the pill because I’m really irregular. What are some of the side effects I might experience, and more particularly, what will it do with my weight or appetite?

When I started on birth control I gained weight. However, with exercise it was really easy to put it back into check.
At first I became a lot more moody/pms than usual. But besides that, nothing else. Just make sure you watch what you eat. It didn’t really affect my appetite in the sense that I got hungry more often, just that I found myself eating more when I wasn’t hungry. Just be careful and you’ll be fine
