my doctor said that all the weight you gain from birth control is mostly water weight.
so i was thinking about taking the water pills to get rid of that weight. and she also said that right now it will be harder to lose regular weight with out getting rid of the water weight first, so i think that would make sense. right?
give me your input please because i really need to know what to do. thanks

Water pills don´t get rid of just water. They tell your kidneys to get rid of sodium from the body, which results in excess water being removed also. This can cause an imbalance in your ion levels. They can also cause a drop in blood pressure.
Taking water tablets to lose weight is NOT recommended.
In my opinion, the way to lose weight is to eat right and exercise. I know that the borth control pill can cause weight gain, but that´s hormonal, and as long as you are healthy the gain shouldn´t be so bad. Just cut down foods that cause bloatedness.
It´s up to you if you want to take the water tablets, but personally, I wouldn´t.
Hope this helps a wee bit.
