@laertes0420
say you burn 200 calorie’s before you eat
then you eat 300 calorie’s less than you maintain your weigth you well lose a pound ever 3 days
This is only a half truth, as calorie deficit can send your body into a catabolic state, which is the last thing you want.
is thiis really true? i llike to do squats intense all the way till it really burns and i thought it’s good and burnng a lot of calories, but do yu think i’m overdoing it and entering anaerobic mode and there for not losing?
Everyone has the right to be stupid but you are abusing you privileges Was it something I said?
You’re a waste of time. Ciao.
“Losing weight has a LOT to do with exercise. What are you talking about?! “….laertes0420
So the question is not what i’m taking about, its do you have any clue about exercise SCIENCE?
If humans were so metabolically inefficient to burn calories while excercing, then the contestant in the biggest loser would lose 10 to 15 lbs a day! Why don’t they?!?! They seem to exercise a lot and have “balance” diet.
Your comment is pretty much incomprehensible.
If humans were so metabolically inefficient to burn, lets say 400 calories – seems like a lot, in an hour maybe two of exercise would we have survive as a species. At the rate of calories burn, people would barely have enough metabolic economy to train every day. Not taking into account one’s BMR.
Disregard my non sense, because sometimes I don’t make sense. Good luck with the calorie in calorie out myth.
Losing weight comes primarily through a calorie deficit, i.e. buring more calories than one takes in. This can occur though both diet and exercise, and exercise has the additional benefit or raising one’s metabolism…not to mention the physiological benefit of having a strong respiratory system, etc.
Losing weight has a LOT to do with exercise. What are you talking about?!
Losing weight is not or never have been about the amount of excerise you do or caloric…IT”S hornonal, because we all know that cardio occurs at the cell level in the mitochondria.
That stupid article has been disproved through educated commentary from a plethora of well-informed sources. The article drew the wrong conclusions and is a total disservice to anyone concerned with their health..
..and in any case, do you think that just because something’s in Time Magazine that it’s fact?! Get a clue.
Exercise doesn’t lose that many calories.
Why Exercise Wont Make You Thin…Time magazine article
I think he’s wrong 10 second won’t work
You need at least 45 seconds of high intensity
Go to intervaltraining[DOT]net this guy is giving wrong info
can i do the same sort of thing but use the cross trainer or training bike as a find it hard to run due to a knee problem ?
i do similar one. keeps me in shape
Very well explained, thumbs up.
i do interval training in the gym but the funny thing is i never see anyone else doing it ha
what if you do 30 seconds maximum speed and 20 seconds recovery, now you’ll be able to play a 90 minute match.
For bigger people looking to loose weight (mostly fat of course) I have found my own version of HIIT (performed on a treadmill) to work very well!
As such:
3min fast walk (3.8-4.x mph)
followed by a 2min sprint (8 or above mph)
and repeat until exhausted.
This, plus diet (watch the carbs until you need them… by which I mean if you don’t exercise (and your fat) you don’t need carbs. I went from 340lbs to 190lbs in 20 months, beat that Oprah!
Pretty Cool really! I am just going to gym now and will do it as you advise..Thanks a lot!
If your fairly young and able there’s really no reason not to train with intensity. You could slowly jog when you become older
I’ve been watching your videos and I like them. I’ve been doing interval training off and on. But I watched your video: High Intensity Interval Training Workout – Fat Burning Cardio and it says to do 30/30 sec of intervals but in this video it says to do no more then 10 or 15secs high intensity. Which one would be more effective in relation to fat burning?
so i have a question what would be a good hiit training on the treadmill if i was goin to be on it for 20 min
is it ok to do interval training for half an hour, 45 seconds sprint, 90 second walk?
