I think I understand how this works. Wearing that thing in public is a great work-out because all that embarrasment gives your body a tough time.

You will not dehydrate as quickly as you think, I use them for weigh in’s and I work out in them 3-5hours a day at that point.

You will lose weight, but it’s water weight. On top of that you risk dehydration from sweating yourself dry.
