what type of birth control does not cause weight gain?

ive recently stopped taking a medication that caused weight gain and im trying to get back to my normal size. i need to start taking birth control again, but i need something thats not likely to cause that. yes i am aware most birth control will. but id like to know what everyone has tried and what kind of luck youve had.

I’ve been on Ortho tri-cyclen low and have actually lost some weight.
I’ve heard otherwise from many woman but it’s mostly due to bloating. I dont eat salty foods and i drink a lot of water so that doesnt seem to be an issue with me.
Also, the first week i started to take it i was SO FREAKING HUNGRY all the time, but i just didnt over-eat like i wanted to i ate my usual and i guess my body got used to it cause i dont feel that hunger anymore.

I’m on ortho tri cyclen… I havent gained any weight on it and actually lost like 1 or 2 pounds. When i went to birth control, the doctor told me none really make you lose or gain weight.. well at least their not supposed to.
But yeah ortho tri cyclen hasnt had any bad side effects or anything for me.
I was on Loestrin 24 and it didn’t make me gain weight at all. I also didn’t have any bad side effects on it. If you choose a birth control pill with lower hormones, you would be less likely to gain weight on it. You should ask your doctor about which one would be best.
im on Yaz, it didnt make gain any weight, it actually made me horny. lol
