Will birth control pills make me gain weight?

I’ve been taking yaz birth control for almost a year now, and I have had no weight gain because of it. Now, I’m thinking about switching to Ocella, because it is less expensive. If i had no trouble with weight gain with Yaz, will Ocella be any different?

Weight gain is just a side effect that not everyone gets. You may or may not gain weight if you switch pills. I would imagine since you didn’t before, you’ll be fine now.
